| The teams tournament was set up to put cooperation into games where there is none, teams of two enter and play tournament style against the other teams until only one is left. This adds a new dimension to playing in that both team members have to come 1st and 2nd or else it doesn’t cont as a win and the game must be played over, so cooperation in games such as Mario Kart and Star Fox becomes crucial.
